We are pleased to announce that the University of Siedlce has once again been accredited by the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). This accreditation entitles us to apply to offer full-time Polish language courses and preparatory courses for foreigners to study in Poland between 2026 and 2029.

The Center for Polish Language and Culture at the University of Siedlce will be responsible for implementing the language programs financed by NAWA. The accreditation was accepted on behalf of the University by the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Dr. Karolina Zioło-Pużuk, and received by the Director of the Center, professor Barbara Stelingowska. The ceremony took place on June 24, 2026, in Warsaw, at the Kazimierzowski Palace of the University of Warsaw, as part of an event entitled "The Language of Internationalization." Thus, the University of Siedlce is among 17 Polish universities which, thanks to the accreditation obtained, will be able to participate in recruitment for the implementation of language programs for foreigners.

Polish language courses funded by NAWA play a significant role in promoting Poland, Polish science, and higher education worldwide. For many participants, these courses are the beginning of an educational and professional journey connected with Poland, opening the door to study, developing academic careers, and establishing collaborations with Polish institutions and partners.
